Walking with Alpacas 🌿

Walk alongside our friendly, curious alpacas through the gorgeous scenery with rolling fields. Our guided experiences are suitable for children and adults and a perfect way to slow down, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the company of these gentle animals.  Please note that children must be 6 years old or above to walk an alpaca. All children must be 

accompanied by a responsible adult. The experience starts with a health & safety briefing, then take a stroll with your alpaca whilst learning fun facts along the way, finishing with feeding your alpaca from your hand and hopefully, now your alpaca has got to know you, a lovely cuddle.  Places are limited so pre-booking is essential. 

1 hour experience                     £24 per adult 

                                                          £12 per child aged under 14 years of age accompanied by a paying adult 

                                                          £10 per person for those accompanying the walk not leading an alpaca

30 minute experience             £10 per child aged under 12 years of age. Walk will be around the paddock.

Meet and Greet the Alpacas

Meet-and-greet with the herd.  Photo opportunities and alpaca facts. Small group sizes for a personal experience. Be up, close and personal with the alpacas - feel their beautiful soft fibre and feed them some treats. Get to know our lovable herd of alpacas—each with their own personality and charm. Whether it's gentle Davaa or cheeky Pachinko, they're all part of the family and can't wait to meet you. There will be time for photo opportunities as well!  We can even offer cream teas, afternoon teas, fish n chips, or picnics. Having your food presented to you adjacent to the paddock is also possible so you can immerse yourself in the peaceful alpaca world.  Maximum group size is 10 and minimum age limit is 5. You can also meet the cute pigs and goats!

Kids Alpaca Farming and Feeding Experience

What a great way to start the day!  This morning experience is a fun and practical session.  Children will take part in feeding the alpacas and helping out with some of the daily tasks of looking after them such as making sure they have hay and fresh water. They’ll learn some fun facts about alpacas and have the chance to ask lots of questions.  This session is focused solely on the participating children. Adults must accompany children and a minimum ratio of 1:2.  There is no cost for accompanying adults. This is an outdoor activity so children will need to be dressed appropriately with suitable footwear such as wellies. Recommended age range is 5-11 - older children welcome but the experience is aimed more at the younger ones.

Alpaca Parties!

Children's Parties

Make your child’s birthday extra special with an alpaca party! Children will meet the herd and have an introduction to alpacas, learn how to handle them safely and then do a short walk or obstacle course, with the children taking turns to walk the alpacas. Maximum group size is 12 children, with adults attending at a ratio of 1 per 3 children.  Please contact us for availability and pricing.  We can tailor the party to your requirements and provide food and party bags. 

Adult Parties

Make that birthday, anniversary, or other celebration extra special with an alpaca party! Meet the herd, have an 

introduction to alpacas, learn how to handle them safely and then do a short walk or obstacle course, taking turns to walk the alpacas.  Please contact us for availability and pricing.  We can tailor the party to your requirements and provide food and drink in the beach bar, cafe, restaurant, or bar. 

Wedding Attendance

If you’re having your wedding at Willoughby Park, our alpacas can provide an additional attraction and entertainment for you and your guests.  Alpacas will have a halter, lead rope and a bow tie on and will attend the photography session at the wedding, with the happy couple and wedding guests if required.  Please contact us for prices and availability.
